I Believe in Angels!

Hello everyone I hope that you all have had a good week! For me this week has been crazy. I am now in my new area with my new companion, Hermana Larson. I am back by the Las Vegas Temple which I love it here. My companion is so cute she is an army brat and she has been out the same amount of time that I have! We are also white washing the area. Wow it is crazy but all good things. 

This week it has been full of getting to know people, the area, and getting in contact with everyone that we need to! But also helping with Centro Hispano. Centro Hispano is the English class and we have been asked to put a committee together to run it so we have been working hard at trying to get things finished and out on time. 

One of the most amazing things that happened this week was with my companion and my roommates. We were able to talk about the second coming and how it is coming soon then we think that it is. Well long story short we all need to get prepared because did you know Jesus is coming. We were all stilling there talking about how we have seen the Atonement in our life's. With the missionary work but also with our personal life. 

President and Sister Rodarte came and visited us. We have had some things going on and they came over for a visit and to give one of the sisters in our apartment a blessing. He was talking to her and kind of all of us but it felt like he was talking to me individually. The spirit was so strong and a feeling of comfort. I love the Rodartes and the love that they show me, but also they remind me just of my parents and they make me so happy. 

We were able to talk about angels and different angels that we have seen in our lives. Well, all of the sudden Sister Larson my comp. looks at all of us and says I can see angels around all of you right now with swords. All of the sudden the spirit hit me like a truck, it was so strong that in that moment I started crying because it was so sudden and so powerful. She also said that you all have one angel standing beside you, so what do I do? I looked at the family tree and pulled up a picture of my Grandpa Ed. Well she confirmed to me that it was him with me! I was so overwhelmed with joy and knew that he was with me and my family was with me! It was so amazing to know that I have angels round about me and they are my ancestors. I am so blessed to be able to have this experience and know that as I turn to God that he is going to have his angels round about me! Protecting me from good to bad and helping me be strong and so Satan can't get to me.

Things are good and life is always good just working hard and trying to become better! I want to share with you is Mosiah 2:41 

“And moreover, I would desire that ye should consider the blessed and happy state of those that keep the commandments of God. For behold, they are blessed in all things, both temporal and spiritual; and if they hold out faithful to the end they are received into heaven, that thereby they may dwell with God in a state of never-ending happiness. O remember, remember that these things are true; for the Lord God hath spoken it.”

I love this scripture! All I want to say is that continue to look towards Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father! Trust them and love them. Continue to follow Him and do what he has asked. When you do that your relationship with him will improve and you will be ready for the great day when he comes again!
