Mormons Fort

Hello everyone, I hope that you all have had an amazing week. Crazy to think that summer is coming to an end, but also what a great new school year or year it is going to be for everyone.

This week has been a crazy week. I have been able to look at and see a few things that have happened this week and every time I say to myself " that happened this week, WHAT!"

Monday night was a little eventful, Elder Ford and Elder Marin came to get our car so they could take it to a zone conference. We answered the door and Elder Ford was holding a baby lizard. It was so cute, and so much fun to hold. After talking and playing with the lizard the Elders went to leave and they threw the lizard in our apartment. The lizard was freaking out. He was breathing so fast. I got him out and to say the least he was probably really happy to be done with humans.

Then on Tuesday we had a Zone Conference. It was a lot of fun, we were able to go with the STLs. It is always too much fun to spend time with them. I always love conferences. I am able to learn so much and edify myself. Also knowing how I can help the people that we are teaching! We were able to sit with the sisters and the APs at lunch. Let me just say that I don't want to have their job. They don't get sleep and have to be at everything, they do so much for the mission. It is crazy, but a lot of fun to talk to them and get to know them more.

Surprise, we had our interview with President right after. They are always so much fun. I am so lucky to have him as my mission president and be able to work with him and get to know him better!

One of the Young Men who has been coming to lessons with us got his mission call. So we were going to go. Well we didn't have a car so we were going to go bike mode. We'll get out and Sis. Manwarings tire was flat and we didn't have a bike pump. So the race was on, luckily a member saw us and was going too and stopped to pick us up. After running across the street we got there, and it was so much fun to see the love and support and to be able to be a part of it. Almost to the day, it was a year since I opened my mission call, oh what a good way to remember it and the blessing that it has been in my life! He is going to Guatemala City. So exciting for him!

Then we had a lesson with the probation boys, we talked about the Armour of God with an orange. And they loved it, but it is also a good reminder of what we need to be doing in life to have God with us and for him to never leave us!

When we were done with the lesson all of the sudden Joseph runs out and tells us that Perry had made us some hamburgers. We went in and he handed us our burgers, as I took the first bite I heard a big crunch between the two pieces of bread, it was the crunchiest hamburger I’ve ever eaten. It was so nice of him to think of us and to have that for us.

We were able to go to Gaylenes this week. She is doing good, but could use some prayers. She is struggling with the Word of Wisdom. Once she gets through this then she will be good and ready for baptism. She is stubborn, but who isn't to be honest. And we will keep working with her and she will be ready soon! Fingers crossed!

We went on mini Exchanges with the sisters and I was able to go with Sister Merrill, and she is so amazing I love her so much. We were able to go to Centro Hispano and be able to teach together. It was so helpful to be able to see how she does it and then work with her and teach with her. She is a missionary that I strive to be like she is so kind and thoughtful of everyone and just amazing!

On Thursday we were able to go and have lunch with a member, they were so cute and cooked us some good hamburgers! Haha But they are so sweet and kind to feed us and then have a nice conversation with them. We were able to go up to Mormon’s Fort and help with a service up there. I was in charge of the cow station they had a little (fake) cow named Betsy and the kids were able to milk her. Haha they all loved it. A fun activity for the hot sun. It started raining so we had to bring her in, but it was cool to be able to walk around and see how the saints settled into Vegas!

Rosa she is so cute, we are trying to help her prepare for baptism. She is having a hard time reading the Book of Mormon and so hopefully she will get better at that and we can help her prepare for baptism.

And then Friday and Saturday weren't too exciting just working and helping others come closer to Jesus.

Sunday was a good day, both of the wards were amazing. We were able to help in young women's, they were teaching the 10 Commandments and they are something that I have come to love on my mission. Knowing that we have been given these rules to protect us NOT to hurt us. And make it possible for us to return to live with our Father in heaven! Ah, I love that Man!

All of the girls are so sweet and so much fun to work with, they all have this light about them and just want to learn more. They want to share their testimony with others.

We went to an amazing family's house for dinner, it is the best when they remind you of your family. And the best dinner table conversation, never a dull moment haha!

And then a night of visiting families in the ward. They are all so much fun and I am so grateful to be able to get to know all of these different people!

But the best part of my day was when the sun went down there was am amazing lightning show. It lit up the sky and went on forever. It is so amazing to see mother nature work and is so beautiful! I love the rainstorms here, it gets a little humid but is so much fun to have a fresh smell in the nasty Vegas.

I want to share with you all a scripture that has touched my heart this week. Helping me know that God is with me and that he is always there for me!

Moses 6:32-34

32 And the Lord said unto Enoch: Go forth and do as I have commanded thee, and no man shall pierce thee. Open thy mouth, and it shall be filled, and I will give thee utterance, for all flesh is in my hands, and I will do as seemeth me good.

33 Say unto this people: Choose ye this day, to serve the Lord God who made you.

34 Behold my Spirit is upon you, wherefore all thy words will I justify; and the mountains shall flee before you, and the rivers shall turn from their course; and thou shalt abide in me, and I in you; therefore walk with me.

I love how God is saying do all that you can, share the gospel with all that you can. Choose this day and become better, become and do the best that you can do for the one who made

you. When we open our mouth if we are prepared then He is going to put the words that we need to say in them. I will help you do the good. And when you do this then I will help you get over the mountains and rivers or I will move them for you. But my favorite part that he says is WALK WITH ME! Isn't  that so amazing he is telling us to walk with him, to be with him and to do all that we can to be with him. Because he is the one person in this world who can protect us and make sure that we are doing what we can to continue to enter into the kingdom of heaven. The reminds me of the poem Footprints by Margaret Fishback

Powers. go read it. It is so amazing. But God is with us and is never going to leave us, he is going to lift us during these hard times and make sure that we are not going alone. He would never do that to us. We need to remember the sacrifice that He was willing to make for each and every one of us. They he bled from every pore and he died for you and me! Knowing that just gives me chills and that I can move forward. Even though it can be hard and it doesn't seem like we can, but it is possible with our Savior. Because this time on earth may not seem like it but it is just a moment, a blink of the eye, to help us prepare for the time that we become Gods and Goddesses. Do not drag your feet in the sand and think that you can't, because you can, we all can. Because of our Savior Jesus Christ. I love you all so much and hope that you have the most amazing week!

Gaylene!

Monday, July 12, 2021

Hello everyone, I hope that you have all had a good week! This week has been a good week and full of miracles.

On Wednesday we had an amazing day! We started the day off with a mission training, and had an awesome training by our mission leaders. I love that we are all able to get on together and strengthen on another's testimonies.

Then we went over to Gaylene’s. We were able to have Sister Ernst go with us. It was a lot of fun to be able to go with everyone and share our testimonies. We were able to teach the Restoration with her, she loved the Plan of Salvation! It was something that all made sense to her, it all worked and she was not confused at any part. That is one of the best things about teaching the Plan of Salvation, usually people say this is my favorite part. It all makes sense and I was to have that. I want to be with my loved ones forever. And that is what God has given us the best gift in the world to be with our family forever! And then we did the first part of the Restoration. She loved the idea of the priesthood, knowing that God has given us the  power and authority on the earth today! And we are able to bless and help others in life, I LOVE the priesthood so much! And life, everyone, she loves Jesus, that He is always here for us. It was an amazing lesson spirit filled and full of being able to testify of our Savior Jesus Christ! At the end Gaylene gave us some earnings that she made. She is so cute and talented.

Then we went over to Rosas, she is so cute. We haven't been able to get in to her house for a while and have a lesson with her. But we finally were able to, and it was amazing. We were able to get to know her better and then share the Plan of Salvation. She is someone that has had a hard life and things have not gone her way, but also with choices. But she has been wanting to change and she loves to read the Bible and knows it so well. We were able to go through and read scriptures, ask questions and answer them with scriptures. At the end of the lesson we looked at her and asked her how it makes her feel? And she looked at us and said I have not read this in the Bible and have never heard of this before, but if this is a possibility I want it, for me and for my family. Her face lit up knowing that it is something she could have, she did ask where is it (we were teaching her from), the Book of Mormon. And we invited her to read it. It is so cool to be able to help all of these people and give them those blessings.

And then we were able to go to Centro Hispano. I am so happy to be able to continue to work with these people, have them with something that will bless them for the rest of their lives. And we always have a good laugh.

This week we have been praying for referrals in every single prayer (thanks to Bradyn for the idea), already this week we have been able to receive them from different people and it has been awesome. God is blessing us for our efforts!

Friday night was a little crazy all of the sudden we got the feeling to call Charita. We called her the first time and she didn't answer so we called her again. She answered and she was on her way home from work. We started talking to her and there has been a lot going on with her family. She started crying and said I will be home in 15 minutes, can you come over? I don't want to cry and drive. So what did we do? We whipped up a batch of rice crispy treats and were right over to her house. It was so amazing at the right place at the right time. We were able to help her out, talk and show her that God is here and is never going to leave her. And we invited her to church and she came. It was amazing to see what the spirit can do and how it can help people during the hard times in life! She is wanting to come back, we are going to get her the love and support that she needs but also show her what the gospel of Jesus Christ can give her and bless her with. We had two killer lessons with the Probation Boys, and our awesome fellowship Sam and Kent! They are making progress and reading the Book of Mormon. It is fun to be able to work with them and help them strengthen their testimonies.

And then on Saturday we're able to go and do a service for Gaylene, we helped her clean her lights and put new curtains up in her house. They are so cute and so her! It was fun to be able to get to know her a little better and continue to build that relationship with her!

This week, I want to share D&C 130:19 And if a person gains more knowledge and intelligence in this life through his diligence and obedience than another, he will have so much the advantage in the world to come.

And D&C 135:4

When Joseph went to Carthage he said: “I am going like a lamb to the slaughter; but I am calm as a summer’s morning; I have a conscience void of offense towards God, and towards all men. I shall die innocent, and it shall yet be said of me—he was murdered in cold blood.”—The same morning, after Hyrum had made ready to go—shall it be said to the slaughter? yes, for so it was—he read the following paragraph, near the close of the twelfth chapter of Ether, in the Book of Mormon, and turned down the leaf upon it.

I love these verses so much and found them this week when we were studying. And going along with the Plan of Salvation, but we need to do all that we can to learn all that we can on this earth. Because what we learn here is going to help us in our next life and make us better people. I love tahta thought though, when we are doing all we can to work hard and learn God is going to bless us to remember and retain. So we can continue to learn and receive knowledge to help us become our own Gods and Goddesses. But them Going as a lamb to the slaughter. Giving it all to the Lord. Joseph Smith was scared but knew that it was all going to be alright. Because he was doing it for the Lord.

Think about that what are we willing to give up for the Lord. And what are we willing to do for the Lord. I know that I am to learn all that I can, learn what I can for Him, so I can go out and teach his children and give them the blessings of this church and of this gospel. And say at the end of the day I did all that I could. So if something does happen or a situation happens in our life. I know for myself that this is the true church and I am not going to let anyone else tell me otherwise. I know that I am on my way, I need to continue to give my all to the Lord and show him what I am willing to sacrifice for him and give it to Him!

I love you all and hope that you have a good week!

Priesthood Power!!!

Monday, July 5. 2021

Hello everyone, Happy 4th of July! I hope you are all having a good holiday and had some fun celebrating America! We got transfer news and my companion and I are staying together and in the same area. It is crazy this is the first time that I am staying with the same companion and the longest I will be in an area. But it is exciting, I love all of the members and the people that we are teaching!

This week has been another good one. This week we went and visited with Gaylene again, she is so cute! We were able to teach her the Plan of Salvation, and she loved it. She kept saying that it makes sense and I love that, I WANT THAT! The spirit was so strong in the room, you could feel the spirit was teaching her and we were testifying of the spirit. We drew it on a whiteboard and showed her a lot of scriptures in the Book of Mormon. Helping her see the evidence of what we have! I am so excited to continue to work with her, she has a soft spot in my heart. We keep inviting her to things and she says no. But after she said no this time she texted back and said "keep asking because one of these times I will say yes and it is so sweet of you to ask me!"  It made my heart so happy to know that she is changing and making room for Christ in her life. I love to see the change in everyone but

especially her!

Centro Hispano was amazing. We had good lessons with everyone that we were teaching. Let me just say I love the old Latinas they are adorable! They just make my heart so full and are so sweet to me. I can't wait until the day that I serve in a Spanish area and get to be with them all of the time! They make you feel so special and are so impressed that I am trying to learn Spanish. This week one of the ladies said to us, "Speak more English" in our

class. They all have this desire to learn more and help their families and friends. It makes me so grateful that we offer this class for them. Most of these people don't have a lot of money and this is the least of what I can do for them!

That night we went and visited the McCoy's, they are one of the amazing families in the ward that I have had the privilege to get to know. It was so sweet they had us over and we had smores and then we shared Alma 17. I love being able to go into members homes and share the blessings of a mission and what it has done for me and encourage their kids to do the same! It is something that has not been easy and I know it still won't be easy, but the change that I have made and the relationships that I have made, especially with my Heavenly Father and Savior

Jesus Christ, I wouldn't change those for the world! I can't wait to continue to work with their family and be with them!

On Thursday we found an Elote cart and got come Mexican corn! It is one of my favorite things in this world, and so much fun to get that! And we also were able to get some ice cream from these cute ice cream trucks. They are all over in Vegas and there is always music we can hear from the trucks. It is fun to listen to them and see all of the kids running to them!

We went and visited Bishop York's family, they are so funny. I felt right at home, they are so cute and know how to make you feel loved!

Friday was an amazing day! For the last three transfers I have had a hard time sleeping, I can't fall asleep and then once I do I can't stay asleep. Well after trying a few different things and getting suggestions from people, I decided to get a priesthood blessing for it! And let me tell you it was one of the most amazing blessings that I have ever gotten in my life! It was very sweet to me because I have been able to grow a relationship with some of the elders in my district and they are such good people and good friends. And so all of them got to participate in the blessing and I just felt so much peace and comfort with them all and the love that my Savior has for me.

I didn't tell Elder Taylor, the one who was giving me the blessing, what was going on. He just went for the blessing, and my jaw dropped because in the blessing he hit on every single thing that I was going through and even other things. It was so cool and amazing, one of the best blessings I have relieved but also a sign of how God knows us individually and loves us. He knows what we are going through and how to help us. And even the things that we need to hear.

I am also SO SO SO blessed for the power of the priesthood in my life, and the worthy men in my life who hold it. It is something that has changed my life and changed me. It gives me the chance to know of the power of God! No words can describe how grateful I am to have it in my life!

And then the Probation Boys! Let me just say that I had the most amazing lesson with them ever, on Friday. At the beginning they started to open up more and share more about themselves. I felt like the relationship was growing so much and they are making a change in their life and it is so cool to watch! It was so much fun to just have a good laugh with them! But then we also taught them the Word of Wisdom and they took it like champs! They understood the importance and we invited them to pray about it and to ask why? It is something that God has asked us to do but also if it is something that they need to do! They all have a desire to stop and it is so cool to see them want to! Oh I love them all so much, and we have amazing fellowship in that ward (a few young men) and they have helped us so much to teach. But also helping them prepare for their missions!

Saturday we had a steak breakfast for the 4th and it was so cool. We had one of our investigators come and he loved it! And it was Elle’s Birthday, Happy Birthday! I love that I got to talk to her.

And then the 4th! We had a good day, we had 2 amazing sacrament meetings and Sunday school classes. Then we were able to go to the Hicken’s for dinner. They are so much fun to talk to and get to know, so sweet and friendly, and for some reason when I am over at their house I drink so much water. Well yesterday I drank 6 water bottles and left on the 7th. Oh it felt like I had abs because my stomach was so tight with all of the water that I had, hehe! And then we went over to Anna's because Alii had to work and spent some time with her. We did some finding and with her we set up some lessons with some of her friends. It was so cool to do some member missionary work with her and also her desire to help us! We love that!

This week I would love to share with you all something from the D&C reading this week! It is going to be in D&C 75. We were going through this chapter with a member and it was so cool the personal revelation that I was able to receive. But also it is so cool!

10 Calling on the name of the Lord for the Comforter, which shall teach them all things that are expedient for them—

11 Praying always that they faint not; and inasmuch as they do this, I will be with them even unto the end.

12 Behold, this is the will of the Lord your God concerning you. Even so. Amen.

13 And again, verily thus saith the Lord, let my servant Orson Hyde and my servant Samuel H. Smith take their journey into the eastern countries, and proclaim the things which I have commanded them; and inasmuch as they are faithful, lo, I will be with them even unto the end.

14 And again, verily I say unto my servant Lyman Johnson, and unto my servant Orson Pratt, they shall also take their journey into the eastern countries; and behold, and lo, I am with them also, even unto the end.

16 And he who is faithful shall overcome all things, and shall be lifted up at the last day.

20 And in whatsoever house ye enter, and they receive you not, ye shall depart speedily from that house, and shake off the dust of your feet as a testimony against them.

22 And it shall be more tolerable for the heathen in the day of judgment, than for that house; therefore, gird up your loins and be faithful, and ye shall overcome all things, and be lifted up at the last day. Even so. Amen.

24 Behold, I say unto you, that it is the duty of the church to assist in supporting the families of those, and also to support the families of those who are called and must needs be sent unto the world to proclaim the gospel unto the world.

26 And let all such as can obtain places for their families, and support of the church for them, not fail to go into the world, whether to the east or to the west, or to the north, or to the south.

27 Let them ask and they shall receive, knock and it shall be opened unto them, and be made known from on high, even by the Comforter, whither they shall go.

I love this chapter so much! I think everyone can get something different from it. But for me it all starts on 10,11, and 12. Pray unto the Father and give all that you have, and when you do that he is going to be there to comfort us and not leave us alone. But it is the will of the Father, He knows us all and our needs and is never going to leave us. We need to go to him in prayer and He is going to be with us to the end and think about that to the end. We don't have an end; He is going to be with us forever.

As we are faithful He is going to be with us and He says it again at the end of verse 14, he will be with us forever!

We shall be lifted up and overcome all things through our Savior. Life is not going to be easy, but as we come to him in prayer He is going to help us to overcome all of it! And he is going to lift us up in the last days as we strive to become like Him.

20, but as we continue to be an example and share our testimony with all those we know. He is going to bless us for our doings. It is their fault if they don't take it but at least we can say we did all that we could. And that is all we can do!

And we will be supported by our families in all that we do, they are here to cheer us on and love us. No matter where we go in the world. We are still on and one in God!

And God is never going to leave us comfortless!

I love this gospel so much and for what it has done for me and the change that I have seen in others as they turn to our Savior Jesus Christ! He has blessed my life so much and I love going to Him in prayer because I know He is listening and is here for me. I hope you all know the love that He has for us and the plan that he has and wants for us. Continue to share your light and testimony with others and I know that you will be blessed! I love you all so much and hope you have the most amazing week ever!

The Rain!!!

 Monday, June 30, 2021

Hello  everyone, I hope that you have all had a good week and that things are going well for you all. Today Elle and Mckay got married and I am so happy for them! I was able to video call in and it was so much fun. To be able to be a part of it and feel the joy and the love!

This week has been a fun week! At the beginning of the week we were able to have mini- exchanges, and they were a lot of fun. We went over to our sister's area and were able to spend some time over there.

This week we got to see Gaylene twice, we went over to have a lesson on Wednesday. We talked about a lot of questions that she had, to clear things up and help her

see the best thing for her to do is to come to church in person. We are still working on it! One thing that she said to us was I have been reading the Book of Mormon with an intent to find something wrong with it, something that I can take and say this is why I don't want to be a part of the church. She said that she finds something then keeps reading and her question gets answered, haha. I looked at her right in the face and said go for it, try and find something wrong because you will not be able to. This is from our Savior and he made it for

us. It is really cool to see the change that she has been making.

And then we were able to go over on Saturday and take her some cookies. We were able to meet her dog and he is so cute. He reminded me of my little dog Sammy! I miss my dogs, but it was so cool to be able to share a scripture and help her prepare for her lesson on Wednesday. We are going to teach her the plan of salvation, and I am so excited!

This week got pretty chilly. It got into the 90's

so I got to wear my pants and that made me so happy!

We went to Centro Hispano this week and we had a FULL class. Two new people and they are all learning and improving so it is so much fun to get to know all of them and to build relationships with them. Showing them that as we turn to our Savior Jesus Christ we will be able to do all things even though it can be hard!

And then on Wednesday it rained, it felt so good! All of the sudden I heard thunder and thought it was our neighbors upstairs and then we looked outside and it was pouring rain. It was so much fun, we ran out and just were standing in it. It felt so good, I have not seen rain in so long. It was a warm rain and felt so good to be out in it and get the feel of rain on your skin, it was quick, it only lasted about 10 minutes but I enjoyed every minute and then the ground was dry and it was hot outside!

We were able to go to help Elder Ford and Wright out with a couple that they are teaching, they wanted to have the Sisters over! Yes they did, hehe so we were more than willing to help! We walked into their apartment and the AC went out. It was not too bad, surprisingly I wasn't dying. But we had some interesting Popeyes chicken and had a good conversation about the Book of Mormon, and invited Avery, the guy, to church. Well let's just say, after four missionaries inviting someone to church it’s hard to say no, so he said yes. Pressure?? I think not! But it will be really good for him to go!

On Friday we got a call from Elder Hill and Renalds, it was 4:15 and they called us asking if we were going to be going to their baptism and 5. We said no we don't have anyone that we are teaching coming. We heard a pause on the phone and they said well do you think you could make cookies for us in time for that. WHAT! I don't know if we can do that. Well being the nice sister that we are, we said yes we will hurry. How many batches do you want? Oh, I think 2 would work, well to say the least we ran around and made two batches of cookies in about 45 minutes. It was fast and furious but fun. Of course we got there late and Prez. and Sister Rodarte were there, at the end Sister Rodarte came up to us and asked if we had someone coming that didn't show up. No, we had some elders who needed cookies at the last minute. She laughed and said “Wow, elders you got to love them!”

Afterwards we went over to the Shakespeare’s and helped them with some yard work, trimming some rose bushes and helping them with other things that they needed. It was fun to be able to see them and have some good laughs!

Yesterday we had a really good church service! Both talks were about the 4th of July and the reason that we celebrate! It was so fun to be able to hear about our Nation and our history but also how the church comes into play and how it all ties together! We went back to the Shakespeare’s for dinner and had an amazing home cooked meal and spent some time with them!

And then we went to the park and found some amazing people who are ready for the Church in their lives! I am super excited we found 9 people this week and even better we had 6 people at church! They all loved it and all had something to say about it! It was cool to hear all of them talk about how the gospel has blessed them and that we talk about our nation and the blessings it has brought us all!

It was a week full of the same things but at the same time there is always a twist and it is fun to see what that is going to be!

I want to share with you all a personal study that I had this week. For me it was another sign of how God answers my prayers and how He hears us individually.

As life goes you have ups and downs if it wasn't the case we wouldn't be human. But after waking up and doing some things in the morning I started my reading in the Book of Mormon where I left off and that was Alma 17, this chapter is so dear to my heart! During this whole chapter I was able to find things to relate to me, but also received answers to prayers! I encourage you all to go read this chapter or any chapter in the Book of Mormon after praying and trying to receive help. I know that this book was and has been given to us for a reason. To help us during this time and to help us grow our relationship with our Father and Savior but also build our testimony!

But today I want to share Alam 17:2-3,9-11

2 Now these sons of Mosiah were with Alma at the time the angel first appeared unto him; therefore Alma did rejoice exceedingly to see his brethren; and what added more to his joy, they were still his brethren in the Lord; yea, and they had waxed strong in the knowledge of the truth; for they were men of a sound understanding and they had searched the scriptures diligently, that they might know the word of God.

3 But this is not all; they had given themselves to much prayer, and fasting; therefore they had the spirit of prophecy, and the spirit of revelation, and when they taught, they taught with power and authority of God.

9 And it came to pass that they journeyed many days in the wilderness, and they fasted much and prayed much that the Lord would grant unto them a portion of his Spirit to go with them, and abide with them, that they might be an instrument in the hands of God to bring, if it were possible, their brethren, the Lamanites, to the knowledge of the truth, to the knowledge of the baseness of the traditions of their fathers, which were not correct.

10 And it came to pass that the Lord did visit them with his Spirit, and said unto them: Be comforted. And they were comforted.

11 And the Lord said unto them also: Go forth among the Lamanites, thy brethren, and establish my word; yet ye shall be patient in long-suffering and afflictions, that ye may show forth good examples unto them in me, and I will make an instrument of thee in my hands unto the salvation of many souls.

I have come to love these verses a lot 2 and 3 because of it talking about how they were still his brethren in the Lord and they were able to rejoice about it  but they were willing to help one another out, they were willing and wanting to receive revelation for themselves but also the people that they were teaching and ministering to. So they gave themselves unto much fasting and prayer unto the lord. They wanted something so they did everything in their power to get it! But when they did it they did it with the power and authority of God! When we do anything we should be doing it with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, by our side because He is the only one who can help us. In the good, in the bad, happy and sad. He is the one person in our life who will be there for it all, cheering us on and lifting us up. He is the one person in my life I don't want to let down and I am not. But also my Brother, my friend I will never let leave my life. It reminded me of a poem you probably know but it is called Footprints by Margaret Fishbak Powers. I encourage you all to go and read it. It has helped me a lot!

But then verse 9-11, When the sons of Mosiah were going they did it with our Savior they made sure that they were going to have his spirit with them. So when something did happen they were able to know what God wanted the people to know and how he could help them. I love verse 10 where it says "Be comforted. And they were comforted." When we have the Holy Ghost with us we can help us feel peace, he can calm us. He is going to be there to comfort us and help us with whatever we are in need of. And then going into verse 11 be patient, endure it, hold onto the Iron Rod, it won't be easy but you will be blessed for holding on. But be an example that our Savior can use us as an example and to be the instruments that he needs us to be to show everyone around the world and our friends the blessings that they can receive being a disciple of our savior Jesus Christ! ( The Plan of Salvation)

I am going to quote a little bit of verse 12 that took courage and declared unto them the word of God.

Let us all take courage, and do it with the lord. For ourselves and for others. To be able to go through life and know that during hard times we will be able to make it, " take courage" and hold onto our Savior. And when you are doing good, help others know of the love that God has for them.

I love you all so much and hope you have the most amazing week ever. Remember I love you and our Savior loves you!

I would love to hear from you all! I hope you have an amazing 4th of July!
