Hello everyone! I hope that you have all had a fabulous week. It is crazy to think that fall is coming around. It is still hot in Vegas but that is all good. We got to get a tan somehow.

This week Monday started out as a great day. We went to a less active family for a little boy's birthday. To show the family support and that we care about them. It was so much fun to spend some time with them. And then when the night was over we came home and were doing things in our apartment. A member gave us some ice cream last week and we were

ready to crack it open. Just so you know my companion has a severe egg allergy. We were not sure if it had egg in it so we put some on her finger and it didn't swell up. So we thought that she had found some. So she scooped some up for herself with just the spoon and she had a little ice cream on it. And all of the sudden her throat started to swell and she was having a reaction to it. Well I was ready to take her to the hospital, it didn't get to that point, but after a few phone calls everything was good. She was just not feeling well at all. It was insane. If she would have eaten a spoonful we would have been in the hospital. But she is doing well and feeling better.

Nothing too crazy on Tuesday, we were able to have a cute member get us some food and were able to teach English class. It is always so much fun to be able to help others learn and improve on their English. At the end of the class I asked if I could share a scripture with her, all of the sudden we started to talk about the Book of mormon and the power that comes from it. When we read it, it can help us learn a language. I don't remember everything that I said, but the one thing that I do remember was how strong the spirit was in the room! It was so strong and I could hear it testifying of the truth. How amazing that was!

We got a referral from a member this week and it was about her sister. This lesson is going to be real. It was really hard with my Spanish. Nothing was coming to me and being the trainer I had to take the lead. It didn't go as planned but as I try to learn and improve I know that the spirit will help teach and Testify to her. She is a super nice lady and I can't wait to work with her.

We did go over to a member's house the same night, and were able to get to know them a little better. We had a great discussion about D&C 97:8, it was just what everyone needed. It is so cool to see how a scripture can relate to everyone on different levels.

On Thursday we were able to go and teach Patricia, one of our friends, English. She is so cute and has a true desire to learn more and improve. It is so cute to see her try and try and over time be able to speak to us.

We had sports night, and it wasn’t too much of a success this week. But that is OK, after some people in the ward showed up and an investigator our president said, well, how about I take us all out for yogurtland instead. They were all down so we went. It was fun to be able to spend some time with the branch and get to know them. They are all so cute and friendly.

Friday was Zone Conference!!! I loved it so much, it just makes my heart so happy and I learned so much. It was one of the best I have ever been to, the spirit was so strong. The best is I was able to receive revelation for the people that we are teaching but also myself!

I got to see some of my friends and it was a lot of fun!

And then from the Zone Conference we went straight to

District Council! Let's just say it was a day full of meetings, but it was so good!!! And then all of the sudden all of our lessons canceled and we went street contacting and it was so much fun. We walked around for a while and found this lady throwing bird food at the birds, it was so funny to us so we decided to go talk to her. Apparently she lived in Idaho and knew a bunch of members and would love to hear a message!!! And then on our way to the car we talked to this guy. He asked what we do and we talked about being members and

missionaries. We shared a scripture and we invited him to church. He wanted to come, and we kept talking about church and what will happen and he said what do I have to do to become a Member! WHAT! That is insane we got him in touch with his missionaries and hopefully he will come! It was an insane day but for someone to tell us they wanted to be baptized made my day!

Saturday we went and knocked on a lot of doors. Someone who was going to get baptized but dropped because of covid, we had a lesson with him!!!

And then Sunday we went to church and one of our new friends came. A member referred him to us, and he has been coming for a while. He acted like he was a member, opened up to D&C and was reading along, it was amazing! He is so ready, we have a lesson with him and will see if he is ready.

I love fast Sunday. Being able to make a small sacrifice for our Savior and being able to learn and grow is such an amazing thing!

And then we spent the night street contacting, we found 3 more people, it was so amazing we had a goal of finding 5 people and we found 8 and then we had a goal of 2 people at church and we had 3. Things are coming slowly but surely and I am so happy for the area.

This week I want to share with you all D&C 97:8

8 Verily I say unto you, all among them who know their hearts are honest, and are broken, and their spirits contrite, and are willing to observe their covenants by sacrifice—yea, every sacrifice which I, the Lord, shall command—they are accepted of me.

I love this so much, it is something that is all individual to us. God's love is personal to each and everyone of us. He is not going to love me for someone else, he is going to love me for me, and show me His love for me. When we have hearts in the gospel, we are honest in all of our doings and to the Lord, when we are humble and willing to show God that we have weaknesses and give him all that we can; knowing we are imperfect but doing our best and willing to obey and observe all of the Commandments that he has given us and continue to make covenant with him so one day we can enter into his presence and receive salvation and exaltation with our families! God is going to bless, and I think one of my favorite parts is when he says “they are ACCEPTED of me.” He loves us all. He sacrificed everything for each and every one of us. And loves us for who we are. He is going to continue to bless us and help us to become the best people that we can be!

Those are my thoughts but I would love you all to find what this is saying to you and if God is trying to tell you anything! I know that you are all loved in the eyes of our Savior.

I love you all, would love to hear from you and hope you have a great week!
