This is the energizer bunny, and this one (Sis. Jackson) was born with an old soul!

Hello everyone, I hope that this was another good week for you all! For me this has been another crazy week. But what is new, well let me tell you. 

Tuesday, we had a cute lesson with one of our less active members, she is so cute and amazing. The reason she is not coming to church is she has to take care of her special needs daughter and also her mom. Her hands are full and is providing for the family. I feel so bad for her but know that God is going to bless her with the things that she needs! 

We then started exchanges with the STL’s, they are so cute. I was able to go out with Sister Livingston and then we met up with the other sisters so we could go to English class. I was able to teach Monica and Gustavo. It was a

lot of fun, I started to teach them and then all of the sudden finally the elders showed up. So I was able to teach with Elder Perry. It has been so much fun to get to know all of these people and be able to grow relationships with them. They are so amazing and are now wanting to learn more about the gospel and are also taking those steps. The class that day was more of what we like to do. Well all of the sudden Elder Perry tells them that I can sing. You all know me, my face got all red, well let's just say at the end of class I had the

opportunity to sing for all of them. Hehe  And then when we were all leaving and one of the elders wouldn't get into the car. He was telling his companion to drive so he could run and hop into the car. I wish I’d gotten it on video. It was the funniest thing ever and we were all laughing so hard. 

Wednesday, we all went and did service for a lady. She was so cute she needed help cleaning out her garage and putting lights up in her yard just for fun. It was fun to be able to help her and get to know her. She is also a Utah fan so it was fun to be able to talk to her about that. There are not a lot of those out here! 

We went to our lesson with Tiffany and we had a member there at the lesson. It was so much fun for them to get to know each other and have Tiffany progress even more. 

We then went to our ward mission leader's house for our meeting and he thought that he had canceled with us but he didn't, well come to find out that they were having a party to tell their families that they are pregnant with their first boy. We are so happy for them and how exciting that is for them. 

And then we went back to the church and had our lesson with Mike. We had the Thompson’s come and join us, it was a blast and they are hilarious and just connected well with Mike! We talked about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and tied it back into the first things that we talked to him about. The Plan of Salvation and the Restoration. It was a lot of fun. He is understanding so much and is loving it. We then were able to set up his interview, he is so ready and is going to do amazing. We set it up for the upcoming Sunday! 

Thursday we got to meet with Sister Tyree, and she is amazing. We are able to get to know her and all of her stories about growing up being married and her kids and family. It was so much fun to be able to hear all about it and how it has been for her. Her husband died about 2 years ago and she is not able to talk to her family about it which is so sad. We are grateful that we are an outlet for her and are able to help her feel loved! We then went home and weekly planned for our people and this is the first time that we finished. It was a miracle. We then went to the Rodriguez’s, we haven't been to their house for a while. Our Schedules have not lined up, and we were able to go and have dinner but also see how they are doing. Things are getting better for them which is good, but their dog is pregnant and they think that she is going to have her babies, at least in the coming week. Wow I

was here when she first got pregnant and crazy how fast it goes. And then we went to an apartment complex and it was insane, they had a terrible number system and so we were running about the whole place trying to find the number that we needed. Well we were able to find some people who wanted to learn more about the gospel. And there was this one guy who we walked past and he ran out to us, he was either drunk or high, maybe both, because he ran out and wanted to get to know us. Well he said he was interested in the gospel but we will let the elders take care of that. 

Friday was fun, I got a package from home and I always love those. 

 

We then were able to have an amazing call with one of our friends named Alex. He is this young man that we met at the park and he has an interest in learning more. He has a hard relationship with God and so we were about to talk about that. It was so cool to be able to see him open up and do what he likes and wants help with! 

And then we had another lesson with Mike! It was amazing we went over the interview questions and were able to make sure that he was good to go. And then we got to the word of wisdom and he has had a problem with it and he was like I am willing to stop because this is what

I want. It was amazing and the spirit was so strong. He just kept thanking us for all that we have done for him, it was so awesome!!! 

Saturday we went and had a service for one of the sisters in our ward. It was so cute we helped her get her Halloween decorations out. She was so cute and it was so nice to help her. We went on a walk with one of the less actives in the ward. It was so good, it was something that they needed, that felt so good. Then we went to stake conference and Mike went with us. It was so much fun, he is loving it all. 

Sunday we went and finished stake conference with Mike and he was able to meet Prez and Sister Rodarte! Prez. Rodarte looked at us and described us to Mike like this. This one is the energizer bunny and this one was born with an old soul!! Haha so fun and it is so accurate, and everyone was funny! Then we went over to visit a family in our ward, we love them so much and are grateful for all they do to help us. Life is good and loving everything.

12 For if there be no faith among the children of men God can do no miracle among them; wherefore, he showed not himself until after their faith. 

God loves us and he is here for us!!! Remember all of the blessings he has given us. I know that he blesses the weak to become strong and helps us to become what we need to!
